Low costs, a well educated workforce and a progressive government have made Hungary an ideal location for investments.
The city of Budapest is easily accessible and affordable for both business and tourist travel. Many of the budget airlines such as Easyjet and Wizz Air fly into Budapest.
Property prices have increased over the last ten years with the cost rising by 60% between 1999 and 2003 and is often compared to Dublin of 10 years ago. Compared to Dublin London and Vienna the prices are at a rate of 25 to 30%. Budapest has the lowest cost of living of any major European capital city and this is reflected in the property prices.
Over 60% of the countries commercial activity happens in Budapest and this creates a high demand for residential property within the inner city for rental purposes.
